Jörn Aldag Mr. Aldag joined AMT in October 2009 as Chief Executive Officer. He has thirty years of experience in executive, business and financial management positions at Evotec AG, MAN AG and Treuhandanstalt. Over 11 years initially as CFO and then as CEO, he was instrumental in building Evotec AG into an internationally recognized biotechnology firm with more than 500 employees. Mr. Aldag is Chairman of Molecular Partners AG in Switzerland, and Member of the Supervisory Board of the DESERTEC Foundation. He holds business degrees from Harvard Business School and the European Business School. |

Dr. Carlos R. Camozzi VP, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Camozzi joined AMT in July 2011 as Chief Medical Officer. He started his career in South America holding roles at Lederle/ American Cyanamid and F Hoffmann La- Roche. Over the past twenty five years he built up extensive experience within the pharmaceutical industry, most recently within the orphan drug field. Prior to AMT Dr. Camozzi spent five years with Orphan Europe where he held the position of Medical Director. Before Orphan Europe he worked as a strategic development manager in the Molecular Pathology department of Basel University Hospital, Basel, Switzerland. In these roles, he interacted with both pharmaceutical customers/partners and regulatory authorities. From 2001 -2005, he was managing director of MCP-medeor consulting pharma, where he helped design preclinical and clinical development programs for pharmaceutical and healthcare products. Dr. Camozzi earned his MD and PhD from the School of Medicine, National University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), and holds degrees in Paediatrics, Neonatology, Clinical Pharmacology and Neuropsychiatry. |

Hans Preusting PhD Dr. Preusting joined AMT in August 2006 and is responsible for Operations and Project Management. Dr. Preusting holds a PhD in Biochemistry, a MBA deree and has 20 years of experience in manufacturing using fermentation and cell culture techniques. Prior to AMT he was at Solvay Pharmaceuticals and DSM. Dr. Preusting holds two patents and has published over 20 scientific articles. |

Janneke de Wal Dr. de Wal joined AMT in August 2008 as Director of Global Marketing and Sales. She graduated in medicine from the University of Leiden Medical School (the Netherlands) with honors. Prior to AMT, Dr. de Wal spent five years with Genzyme (USA), working in European and Global sales, including the marketing of Cerezyme. Before Genzyme, Dr. de Wal spent 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry, and has been responsible for the launch of products across a broad range of indications. In addition to leading commercialisation strategy and operations Dr. de Wal led the clinical development of AMT’s lead product and acted as interim Director Medical since 2009. |
Claudia Meyer Dr. Meyer joined AMT in August 2010 as Director of Regulatory Affairs. She holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Bonn. Prior to AMT, Dr. Meyer was responsible for European Regulatory Affairs with Human Genome Sciences covering autoimmune, oncology and hepatitis C products, and previously she spent three years with CSL Behring (Germany). She is also vice-chair of the BioManufacturing Working Group of the European Biopharmaceutical Enterprises. |
Tamara Tugai Dr. Tugal joined AMT in June 2008 and is responsible for business development activities within the company, including business strategy and deal flow. Dr. Tugal holds a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Edinburgh, a PhD in Biochemistry from University College London, conducting research under the supervision of Sir Tim Hunt (Nobel Prize for Medicine, 2001), and holds an MBA from London Business School. Prior to AMT, Dr. Tugal worked in the field of drug discovery and development in the UK, where she held business and managerial roles at Lorantis Ltd and at Eden Biodesign Ltd. |
Arnold Vroege Mr. Vroege joined AMT in January 2007 as Director Quality Assurance and Quality Control. He holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Groningen. He was Head of the QA Department at the Foundation for the Advancement of Public Health and Environmental Protection (SVM) from 2000 to 2003, and subsequently acquired extensive experience with biologicals at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, where he worked as QA Manager from 2003 to 2005 and as Head QA/QC in 2006. |
Monique Marelis Mrs. Marelis joined AMT in August 2008 as Director Human Resources. She holds an MBA from Kingston University in London. Prior to joining AMT, Mrs. Marelis worked at Dell, where she spent five years working as Manager Human Resources. Prior to joining Dell, Mrs. Marelis worked as an HR consultant on a range of national and international projects, providing interim, consultancy and project services. |
